Mentoring

Every fall semester, we organize a mentoring program for incoming SMP students to be paired with current BAP members.  Being a mentor is a great opportunity to share your knowledge of WashU, Olin, and St. Louis with students who are new to our school, and maybe even the United States.  You can also make new friends or professional connections by being a mentor and welcoming the new students into our community!

Mentors and mentees sign up early in fall semester, and are paired based on their academic or other interests. Mentors and mentees are expected to meet at least once during the fall semester, and are encouraged to meet more often than that!

Mentees do not have to be BAP members or candidates to participate!  

We will have information about the 2024 Mentoring Program in early September.
